For some reason I feel very proud of a comment I left on one of 's deviations. It was based on a silly war between two rivaled factions know as "Art Junkies" and "Art Nazis" he simply put his position on the matter of "Anime as a style" [do not let that confuse you with Art Form, or Art in a general sense (which it is)].
As the person that I am (for those who actually watch for some deranged reason) I will not promote his opinion, but endorse my own. I stated that:

"I agree that anime (or manga for those who draw doujins) is not a style to be claimed, but like you said, it is one of the first styles people use. (you yourself grew out of it) If someone really thinks about it (and were a mangy conservative) you could call anime the "gateway drug" of the art community. leading to other drugs such as the Heroine (Abstract Art) or the Cocaine (Cubism) or maybe blossom into a bigger more widely spread of Opium (manga/anime). Although to me, art is art, no matter what is said and done people will look at it the same way; "Its very good" which means "We've seen it all before."
Although anime "art" in particular can be denounced as, like you said, not someone's style, Manga is traditionally like comic books. Except manga, to its core, is done by ONE person. Their OWN perversions, their OWN concept, their OWN style. But to each one their own. But of course, that's not anime, I'm not trying to douse your opinion. I'm merely stating a fact." -Me

This comment of mine tickled my brain for a little bit an realized that I too, who was once one of the millions of indulged and gullible artist, have chosen a side in a war that I classify as RETARDED! It stupid to see people bicker over what they find indecent or unoriginal or whatever. I came to the internet to find people who aren't drunk and insistent, shy and persistent, boisterous and jumpy, disorganized or funky (well, maybe a bit of the funk). But as a human being I love the debates and switching side to make the argument go longer because that's what humans do! Keep debating because you only make me more right. And deny my opinion because then you feed the internet hate machine. I both win and lose, and in the end all that matters is who's opinion was forgotten the least.
